The Mai Dubai City Half Marathon will be held on Sunday, 30th October 2022.

10km: 06:15 am
5km: 06:35 am
All distances within the Mai Dubai City Half Marathon will follow a route around DIFC. The fun and safe route will be clearly marked and traffic-free with Dubai Police, Dubai Road Traffic Authority and our own event marshals helping motorists to cross the course at designated points to ensure your safety when running.
PLEASE NOTE: ALL 21KM DISTANCE RUNNERS MUST COMPLETE THE ADDITIONAL SHORT LOOP ON THEIR FIRST LAP.

Race pack collection will be on 25th, 26th, 27th and 28th of October 2022 from 12:00 – 19:00 in Gate Avenue Zone C, reception area next to Duozoulu shoe shop. Click here for location.
Race pack collection will not be available on the day of the race. A friend, relative or colleague is allowed to pick up a race pack on your behalf provided they show your copy of registration.
All runners who have registered after the 18th of October can only pick up their race packs on the 27th and 28th of October.
All runners who have registered after the 23rd of October can only pick up their race packs on 28th of October.
The minimum age to enter the Mai Dubai City Half Marathon is 16 years and above.
There are various parking lots available within the walking distance of the start line.
Keep in mind that the metro system doesn’t operate early in the morning of the race.
We suggest you come by taxi and ask to be taken to the Emirates Towers Metro Station. This is around 200m from the start area.
Please arrive at least 30 minutes before the start of your race.
You must start in the distance that you have entered.
The route will be traffic-free and will be very well signed to ensure that you can have the most enjoyable run possible.
Event staff will be located across the race route. If you need any assistance while on the route, please alert any of the staff members.
The Mai Dubai City Half Marathon is organized with the support of Dubai Sports Council, Dubai Police and RTA. Entrants in the 21km event must be able to complete the full distance within 2 hours and 45 minutes. Runners who have not started their last lap by 08.15 will be directed to the finish line.
Yes, water is a must! Mai Dubai Water will be available for all runners at the start area, and on the race route at approx. 3km on the 5km loop – so 10k and 21k runners will pass on each lap. There will be an additional water station this year on the lapping lane for runners doing the 21km and 10km. Water is also provided for all runners after they cross the finish line.
Feel free to bring your own water or use a hydration pack if you wish to.
No bag drop facilities will be available during the event. We encourage all participants to travel as light as possible.
Yes, your hard work will be rewarded! Everyone who finishes their race distance will receive a Mai Dubai City Half Marathon finisher medal and an official souvenir t-shirt. Please take the t-shirt size that you requested when you registered for the event.
Yes, all runners will be provided a breakfast box. F&B outlets in Gate Avenue will also be open for all runners.
