What is the route?

10km race is two laps of the Dubai Police Academy

5km race is one lap of the Dubai Police Academy 

2.5km Family Run is one lap of the course

When do I collect my race pack?

Bibs are to be collected from 6:00 AM at the venue on the morning of the race. Please take note that collection closes at 6.55 AM. Your timing chip is on the back of your race bib. The race bib also needs to be on the front of your shirt/jersey.

What time do the races start?

  • The 10km race will start at 7:00 am
  • The 5km race will start at 7:05 am
  • The 2.5km Family Fun Run will start at 7:10 am. 

What is the minimum age to run at the Mai Dubai Community Run?

  • For 10km – 13 years old and above.
  • For 5km – 6 years old and above.
  • For 2.5km – 3 years old and above.

How can I get to the venue?

The Ripe Market at Dubai Police Academy is located on Umm Suqeim Street, opposite Mall of the Emirates

Click here for location. As you enter The Police Academy turn left and follow the signs for parking.

How do I get to the start?

The start for all the races will be on the road approximately 100m from the entrance to the Ripe Market. From the car park, enter The Ripe Market and you will find registration and access to the start line.

Can I change the distance on the day?

​​You must start at the distance that you have entered. 

Is there water available?

Yes, there are two Mai Dubai water stations on the course. One placed near the start and finish area and one on the route. 

Do I get a medal and T-shirt?

Yes, your hard work will be rewarded! Everyone who finishes their race distance will receive a medal, a finisher t-shirt and a breakfast box after the race. 

Top 3 male and female in each race category will receive a trophy.

The 5km and 2.5km under 12 top 3 overall will be awarded separately.

Is there food at the event?

Yes, all runners will be provided a breakfast box after the race.

Are there toilets in the venue?

Yes, toilets will be available near the start area.

Will there be medical assistance available?

Ambulance and medical cover will be present at the event. If you need any assistance please contact a marshal.
